The Emirates Film Festival (EFF) was established in 2013 as the first independent film festival in the UAE. Over the past years, we have celebrated the art of storytelling and supported the voices of emerging filmmakers from the Emirates, the Arab world, and beyond.

Our Mission:

To champion and empower filmmakers from the UAE & beyond by providing a platform where diverse voices can be heard, stories can be celebrated, and a new talent can be discovered.

Each year, the festival evolves, expanding to multi-day programs, interactive masterclasses, international collaborations, and more.

Our Vision:

To become the UAE’s leading independent film festival recognised  globally for nurturing creativity, inspiring dialogue, and building cultural bridges through cinema.
