Yes, a nominal fee applies to cover processing and administration.

• Early Bird: USD 55 — October 1 – December 31, 2025
• Regular: USD 65 — January 1 – February 28, 2026
• Final Call: USD 75 — March 1 – April 30, 2026

All submissions must be short films (up to 40 minutes; foreign language films must have English subtitles) that comply with UAE regulations, which strictly prohibit content that includes:

• Nudity or sexually explicit scenes
• Profanity or offensive language
• Material deemed blasphemous or disrespectful to religion
• Content that promotes hate speech, discrimination, or political incitement
• Any material violating the UAE's cultural and social standards

To qualify for submission, please ensure these elements are edited out of your film.

We welcome all genres from fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental, provided they comply with the above laws. Eligible films must have been produced within the last five years, including those created during the pandemic.

Selected films for the 12th edition will be announced after the jury selection process;
please allow 3-4 weeks for evaluation
